The museum houses a collection of over 30 historic vehicles, including streetcars, trolleys, and buses from all over the United States. Take a ride on one of our restored streetcars or trolleys from all over the world. The National Streetcar Museum offers visitors a unique and educational way to experience urban transportation history firsthand. We offer several different evening and weekend trips, as well as charter services for groups.
Our historic streetcar line’s 45-minute ride through downtown Lowell is the most popular trip. This trip is offered every Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day weekend through October and departs from the National Streetcar Museum every hour from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The fare for this trip is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, and free for children under three and National Streetcar Museum members.
The National Streetcar Museum also offers charter services for groups of all sizes. They have a variety of streetcars and trolleys that can accommodate groups of 20 to 200 people. Whether you’re looking for a unique way to celebrate a special event or want to explore Lowell differently, the National Streetcar Museum’s charter services are perfect!
